Left Handed Gamers and Their Left Handed Mouses
January 27th, 2012More left handed gamers complain about the difficulty of gaming left handed than right handed gamers. They should be purchasing left handed computer mouse equipment. Assigning shortcut keys to the left handed keys on the keyboard will also help. Unfortunately these are usually just excuses poor gamers make when they need to blame something for not having as much fun as they had hoped. As you know, the equipment you choose is only a small part of your gaming experience. Real gaming goes way beyond buying left handed mouses (though having the right equipment is important). Following are a few hints for those who want to have a good time playing online games.
A left handed mouse is an investment you will have to make if you are a left handed gamer. An ambidextrous keyboard is something else that you’ll find helpful. Such keyboards are divided in two, giving you the option to use them however it suits you. There are even some keyboards that are made specifically for gaming and once in a while one of them will be designed for left handed players. While these keyboards can give you more agility when you play, you will have to pay more for them. Practice makes perfect. It takes time to master some of the skills that are needed to be a valuable member of your team. You should expect that you will not immediately be an expert on the first day. Using your left handed mouse for example could take an adjustment. As with any other game you will need to work hard to get good at playing especially left handed. You will become a better gamer the more you try to hone your skills. Gaming becomes more fun as you get better at it.
You should not forget to have fun when playing games. These games are supposed to provide you with good entertainment. You should not replace real life with these games. If you end up too wrapped up in a game it is important to realize you need a brain break, go do something else away from the game console, left handed mouses and keyboards for a while. Play a different game or leave your computer entirely for a few hours. Your ability to have fun will have an affect on the rest of your team mates.
Online games are designed and intended to be fun for all. Just keep things in their proper perspective so you don’t get too emotionally involved and forget to have fun.
If you play like you’re superior, and you’re a spoiled brat; that’s a fast way to people ignoring you and not wanting you around. If you need a left-handed mouse, that’s cool and get one; but just keep everything in perspective. There’s more to gaming than that left-handed mouse thing.
